Since 1960, JEM has been manufacturing heaters and cathodes for receiving tubes and CRTs, filaments for fluorescent character display tubes, and directly heated cathodes. JEM has been providing a wide range of products for displays such as color TV display including high-definition TV display, computer display, measurement display, and radar display to meet the needs of customers.
JEM is highly regarded for its quality, reliability and performance not only in Japan, but also in various countries in the world. JEM is currently working toward development and mass production of "High Performance Heater (To provide a uniform coating of insulating material)" which allows to uniform operating temperature, and the heater for high current density cathodes (Impregnated Cathode), i.e. "High Temperature Heater" to meet the needs for higher performance more than ever.
JEM has been meeting the needs for various kinds of processing and assembly of heat-resistant metals such as tungsten and molybdenum with processing difficulty, a field in which we have been specializing.
JEM also strives to meet the needs for manufacturing facilities for various use, which are produced by the materials technology and the manufacturing technology that are accumulated by JEM since 1960.
