Japan Electronic Materials Corporation (JEM) was established in 1960 to manufacture parts for cathode ray tubes. It has since become one of the worldfs leading developers and manufacturers of probe cards.
A probe card is an interface unit essential for testing microchips on semiconductor wafers. Today JEM delivers contact solutions tailored to the diverse needs of its clients, through a probe card lineup ranging from cantilever types to vertical types, as well as cards employing MEMS technology.
The JEM group has expanded globally, establishing bases in the United States, Korea, Taiwan, China and Europe to serve semiconductor manufacturers across the world. We plan to respond to expanding overseas semiconductor markets by pursuing further localization of our operations outside Japan, and building an even more robust global network.
Ongoing technological innovations have driven growth in the semiconductor manufacturing sector. The JEM group is working to expand its presence in this sector, with each and every member of our staff striving to create new forms of value, to develop products that can compete in global markets, and to add to our corporate value.
We look forward to your continued support.
