In line with the internationalized electronic industry, in 1987 JEM gained ground in Silicon Valley, California, where world semiconductor corporations cluster.　Since then JEM has pioneered the opening of overseas production bases.　What motivated us to do this was to draw closer to customers for a quicker response to customer demands, and to secure global logistics to ensure cost competitiveness.　In the field of probe cards, in particular, proximity to the customer location is essential to ensure prompt execution of probe card design integrated with the semiconductor circuit design.　JEM has production sites in the U.S., China, Taiwan, Korea and Europe, and is vigorously pushing forward with global support.

Owing to the above and our proven results, the globalization of JEM research and development is highly valued by overseas customers, and now JEM is a full-fledged international corporation which promotes global-scale business development.　In future, we will further augment the overall power of the JEM group and reinforce our technological network throughout the world.
